Terms of Service

Welcome to MYNDE. These terms describe the deal between you and us when you use the app. We keep the language short. Where the law makes us include something specific, we do, but we won't hide intent behind it.

1 · Acceptance

By installing and using MYNDE, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 16. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has approved your use.

2 · What MYNDE is - and what it isn't

MYNDE is a daily cognitive fitness app. You answer questions; AI asks follow-ups; over weeks, you receive a Cognitive Fitness Score and other artifacts.

MYNDE is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic care; not a diagnostic tool; not a crisis hotline. If you are in crisis, please call 988 (US) or visit findahelpline.com.

3 · Your account

You're responsible for keeping your email secure. One personal account per person; don't share it (it would corrupt your score).

4 · Your content

You own everything you write, type, or speak into MYNDE. We don't claim a license beyond what we need to provide the service. We cannot use your responses to train AI, market to you, or share with third parties.

5 · What you can't do

• Use MYNDE to harass, threaten, or harm yourself or others.
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the question library. The questions are the moat; they're protected by copyright.
• Use automated tools to interact with the service.
• Resell or commercially redistribute access.

6 · Disclaimer

MYNDE is a wellness and cognitive-training product. It is not a medical device, not a healthcare provider, and not a substitute for professional care. Nothing in MYNDE is medical advice.

7 · Subscriptions and payment

When paid tiers ship, subscriptions are auto-renewing monthly via Apple in-app purchase. Cancel any time at least 24h before the next renewal in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.

There is a free tier. You do not have to pay to use MYNDE.

8 · Intellectual property

The MYNDE name, design system, character library, and question library are ours. Open-source components are honored under their respective licenses.

9 · Account deletion

Delete any time in Settings → Delete everything. Within 30 days, all backups containing your data are purged. Inactive accounts (no activity for 24 months) may be deleted after warning by email.

10 · We may change MYNDE

If we make a material reduction in paid functionality, we'll tell you ahead of time and offer a pro-rated refund via Apple.

11 · If we ever stop running MYNDE

We don't plan to. But if we ever do, we commit to 90 days' notice, exportable data through the window, and refunds of any unused subscription time.

12 · No warranties

MYNDE is provided "as is." We don't warrant it'll be uninterrupted or error-free, that the score measures anything in the real world, or that AI follow-ups will be helpful. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13 · Limitation of liability

Our total aggregate liability is the lesser of (a) what you paid us in the prior 12 months, or (b) $50 USD. In jurisdictions that don't allow this, our liability is the maximum the law allows.

14 · Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us from any claim arising from your use of MYNDE in violation of these terms.

15 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. EU users retain their local consumer protection rights and may file claims in their own jurisdiction. US consumers retain the rights granted by their state's consumer-protection laws.

16 · Changes

Material changes get announced in-app and via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
